Mod Shorthair Bag - Recycled from Vintage 70s Coat

Description

This is a smallish messenger-style bag made from a vintage coat of unknown pelt (but probably beaver) with leather detailing. The lining is vintage raw silk in a pewter/champagne colour, very strong. This bag is simple but has a lot of texture and visual interest. The leather detailing from the coat has great vintage patina rather than just wear - it was great quality leather in the original coat. The strap is new but all other details are from the original coat. This should be a long-wearing chic bag. 100% reclaimed materials.

Bag is 11" x 14". We have all our vintage genuine fur coats professionally cleaned using an organic process before construction. This bag is very soft and very comfortable to wear.
