This is a very new addition to my collection. My first scarf made from organic cotton! It has the most luxurious feel to it, you won't believe how soft and cozy it feels next to your skin :D
The organic cotton was hand dyed (by fellow etsian theknittingsiren) in wonderul teal blues. To sharpen the ends and give the scarf a fabulous unique look I have sewn vintage ribbon onto the ends. The ribbon is white with red leaves and black vines. I found it at a fantastic vintage fair I went to this year. It is very clean, don't worry :D

The scarf was handwoven by myself on my antique floor loom. Handweaving is a very labour intensive craft and takes a tremendous amount of work to finish a project. This one in particular took me a grand total of 10 hours to make (including weaving and finishing the ends). In fact, if I count all of the preparation as well it could increase up to 12 hours easy. That is why these scarves are such high quality and, if taken care of properly, will last you for decades to come!

The measurements are approximately 58.5" long by 5.5" in width.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
As this scarf is made from hand dyed organic cotton, I sugguest hand washing or machine washing on gentle in cool water only. Use a gentle detergent and hang or lay flat to dry.
