The Doo Wop Pom Girls
Description
This is a throw back to the photos of the 50s poodle skirt wearing young ladies secretly in love with rock and roll dying to play their records. The poms are mainly a symbol of the pride people felt in being apart of their community at that time. This is a acrylic on a odd choice of poster board but because I love new textures. and to upcycle paper that usually would fall to the wayside. This work is aproximently 10x14 but not exact. It can however easily be framed to match your home. The whole piece is glazed for durabiltiy as well.Added on Aug 08, 2009
