Sixth in the series "Coffee Pot People 'On Vacation'"

Up until recently, the Coffee Pot People and Tea Kettle Characters have pretty much been home bodies, content to linger in the garden or kitchen, making people smile. A few weeks ago, however, at least a dozen of them decided to go traveling, and they've each returned with photographic "proof" of the great times they've had.

On this card you see Bob, standing at a natural window in the Sea Lion Caves on the Oregon Coast, with the Hecata Head lighthouse in the background. To get to where Bob is, you take a rickety board walk along the side of a cliff, ride an ancient elevator w-a-a-a-y down, and step into caves that are, paradoxically, deep within the earth, but windowed by wide horizontal tunnels. Bob has found this excursion both fascinating and a little unnerving. And noisy. Sea lions lounging on boulders in a rock-walled cave are LOUD when they vocalize.

The card is heavy ecru card stock, with Bob's photo affixed to the front. The inside is blank.

When I bring these cards to shows, I title and sign them lightly in pencil, in the border on the front of the card. If you'd prefer your note card unsigned, just let me know.

Each card is mailed in a protective plastic sleeve, and carefully packaged.
