vintage handcrafted yarn afghan throw bright orange stripes

Description

I am not sure if this throw is crocheted or knitted, but I think it may be knitted since the stitches are tight and fairly dense. I believe the yarn is acrylic, rather than wool. The size is 49" long by 39" wide, not including the fringe. The throw is used, but does not show wear or soil, and the colors are bright. There is an allover diamond pattern incorporated into the stripes to add an additional dimension of interest. It appears that this can be reversed and used on either side.
