Mini mushroom pincushion/Needle Felting

This mini mushroom pincushion.
At just over 2" tall and 2" wide, this lovely little pincushion is just the right size to take to class or for your travel sewing kit. It is small enough to be held in your hand while sewing.

Technique:
My miniature are sculpted through a process called Needle Felting. Needle felting is the process of taking raw wool roving and using a special barbed needle to sculpt it into shape. The sculpting is done by poking the wool fibers thousands of times until they interlock and felt together. This process is extremely time consuming.
Each creation is firmly felted and quite solid. I am confident you will be very pleased with your purchases.
