Shino Sunburst Mugs - Set of Two
Description
These are the kind of mugs you can really curl up with on a cold night with a hot drink.Made on a potter's wheel with dark stoneware clay, these generous cups are decorated in a earthy red Shino glaze.
On the inside, the glaze shows off where my fingers left imprints as I pressed out against my hand-carved "sunburst" pattern stamps.
Balanced and light, these mugs each stand around 3 1/2" tall with a 4" diameter mouth. They hold around 12 oz.
They were fired in a kiln to over 2400 degrees (Cone 10).
All of my pottery is food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe.
