You asked, and I delivered: The skeleton key messenger bag, based on the design of my Genteel style skeleton key wallets. This recently updated version is made a little longer and a little wider to carry books and papers effortlessly.
Handcrafted from sturdy, supple black leather with black top stitching, with time and use, this leather bag will achieve a gorgeous, rich patina.
The Genteel messenger is a roomy cross-body bag with ample space for toting necessities and more. The contoured flap cleverly fastens with a magnificent large antique skeleton key. A cut leather tab adorned with two antiqued nickel studs holds the large key in place.
The shoulder strap is generously sized so the bag can be worn diagonally across the body. The strap is accented with nickel hardware.
A stylized pocket lends elegance to the back and makes a bonus nook for that small paperback or other lightweight essentials.
