This is Harley the Little Battle Scarred Bear. He lost an arm in the war and is feeling a little sad these days. He's looking forward to coming home for some much needed love!The Battle Scarred bears started out as being cute in a sad sorta way bears, but after reading a magazine article about a man that went off to war in Iraq and didn’t come back the same as he left, the Battle Scarred Bears were born! The bottom line with them is that we all have scars, some inside, some out, but no matter what, we all still need love.
All my bears are hand sewn and all the buttons are vintage and are from estate sales and antique stores.
Harley is a Little Battle Scarred Bear....about 7 inches long and 3 inches wide.
