Black Corderoy Strapless

If you need a cool and comfortable Bodice, look no further. Wear it for Faire, put a fun skirt with it for a party, or even wear it with Jeans!

This well made and sturdy bodice is made of black cotton fine wale corderoy. It is lined with unbleached cotton drill and both layers of fabric are carefully sewn together to give the bodice extra strength and durability.

The bodice is boned with poly boning beside each set of grommets and down the front two bust seams (8 total). The laces are black cord and the grommets are double sided metal in a silver (nickle) finish. The bodice laces up the back and the sides making it very versatile and adjustable to fit a variety of sizes.

This bodice has been made by myself out of my smoke, cat, and dog free home. I have several years of costume sewing experience and take pride in my work. The bodice is brand new and the design is very comfortable. It is also completely machine washable and dryable. Although you may consider dry-cleaning.

Below are listed the actual garment measurements. The second number listed is a conservative estimate on how large the garment will fit. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

How to measure yourself for a good fit...

The measurements below are the actual garments measurements and then an approximation of what measurements it will fit up to.

Here are the measurements to take on yourself so that you can be sure the bodice will fit.

1.The fullest part of your bust - bra sizes don't count, so make sure you take a true measurement that includes the bra you intend to wear underneath.

2. Your natural waist (not where most of us wear our jeans :) )

If your bust measurement is smaller than the numbers below, the garment will still fit, but it will be laced tightly. The same applies to the waist. If your bust and waist size are larger than the numbers below then it's up to you how much of a gap you want at each lacing point. The current low measurment reflects the bodice tightly laced and the larger measurement is a 2 inch gap in the front and 1.5 inch gap on the sides. Of course if your measurments fall somewhere in the middle, you're in business and the sides and front can be adjusted to fit you perfectly.

This garment is highly adjustable and is made of two layers of good sturdy breathable material that will hold their shape. I've had a lot of nice comments from customers saying how impressed they were by the bodices I make and what good quality they are.

Bust - 37 - 41 inches

Waist - 31.5 - 34 inches

Center front length - 11 1/4 inches

Center Back length - 7 3/4 inches

Care Instructions -

Machine wash cold water, delicate cycle. No bleach. Tumble dry low. Warm Iron Reverse only.
