Snowflake Obsidian Cross Necklace

A detailed sterling silver cross is surrounded by natural snowflake obsidian chips, with accents of sterling silver, black Swarovski crystals, and crystal clear charlotte beads.

Snowflake obsidian is black and grey, and is actually volcanic glass that forms as lava quickly cools. Its snowflake appearance is produced by internal crystallites. The neutral color combination means this necklace will coordinate nicely with any wardrobe.

Charlottes are special Czech seed beads that have been cut on one side. This gives the bead a sparkling faceted look that is much more elegant than a simple round bead.

Because the stones I used in this necklace are natural, this piece can never be exactly duplicated. It is a genuine one-of-a-kind. The necklace measures 18 ¼ inches from end to end. The cross hangs down ¾” and measures nearly ½” across. This necklace is made with high strength 49-strand nylon coated stainless steel, which is very flexible, kink resistant and waterproof.
