One-of-A-Kind Iridescent Raku Pendant and Lavender Agate Necklace

This magnificent one-of-a-kind necklace is sure to capture the eye of those around you. It was created with a gorgeous oval Raku pendant, grade "A" oval smokey lavender Agate semi-precious stones, genuine Amber, and copper metal accents. The necklace is finished with a copper toggle clasp.

"Raku is a Japanese firing technique translated as happiness by chance. The clay is fired to 1900 degrees. It is then removed from an outdoor gas-fired kiln at full temperature , buried in sawdust, and lidded to reduce the chamber of oxygen, thereby creating a burst of colors such as copper lusters, turquoise blues, purple, green, burgundy, brown, and gold, in addition to crackling, and iridescent glaze effects".

After firing, the Raku pendant is sturdy and durable; however, like any piece of art, which this is, it should be treated with care and kept free from being scratched and prevented from being dropped.
