Hiking stick one of a kind 60 inch Carved Walking staff with leather strap

Like most things made by BEARPAW RUSTICS each hiking stick is unique and one of a kind. Most are maple saplings from thinning the woods out back so the pines can grow tall. Each has a heavy duty rubber tip and a wrist strap of leather or braided hemp. All are sanded smooth and finished with two light coats of low sheen polyurothane.

This very cool rock maple hiking stick 60" tall and very rugged. Carved with a wormwood pattern and a burn pattern at the grip area and at intervals along its length. It has a brown leather strap.
Truly a one of a kind piece that will last a lifetime or two.

I recommend a hiking stick be about shoulder height. Some people like their staff shorter so its really personal preference.
A straight hiking stick gives the most flexibility. When climbing uphill, the stick can be grasped higher and when hiking downhill, the hiker can extend the staff for better reach and balance. The most important thing to me about owning a walking stick is that it encourages you to get out there and get some exercise.
