BEAUTIFUL BALANCE neo victorian, steampunk, bird necklace

My first attempt at steampunk (or thereabouts...), though I know it will not be my last! Totally unique, whimsical, and spirited. A silver swallow supports an intricate balance on fine gunmetal chain, from which hangs a vintage metal gimballed compass, clock components, a vintage button, and faux pearls-- all atop a secondary length of gunmetal chain. The result? A fascinating marriage of beauty and balance!

The bird and pendant hangs from two 9" lengths of silver chain, via two very striking merlot colored genuine freshwater pearl sticks.

This necklace measures approximately 24 inches in length (60.5 centimeters); the pendant hangs 6 1/2 inches in addition (16 centimeters).

Fastens with a silver toggle clasp.
