Lake Reflections (Mist on the Lake)

Description

This is an 16"x20" metallic print, matted in a double white mat. The frame is wide black matte metal. The image is under glass, not plexi. The image was created in 2007 at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. It is of mist rising off the lake and the reflection of docks and the shoreline. This piece started as a photograph, but is actually a digital painting. I used the photograph as the underlying color, but then "painted" the piece by hand as an oil painting in Corel Painter, using my tablet. Because it is printed on metallic paper, there is a lot of gold and silver in the piece, which enhances it and it has a three-dimensional feel. The piece has been getting quite a bit of attention at the shows.

This piece is the first in a limited edition of just 10. "Midnight Blue" does not appear in the final print, it is just there to help protect our copyright.
