Rocking the Kasbah Necklace

Description

I like things that have a little bit of a middle-eastern/ethnic flair, and this necklace is no exception. The main piece of this necklace is antique - thus, I'm not sure of the metal content but I believe it to be silver or pewter. The metalwork is filled in with some sort of enamel possibly in various colors.

To this main piece I've added several elements. Amber droplets spill away from the bottom, and are added to the top. Accenting the chain are silver cap beads and strings of lapis lazuli chips. For added flair, Hill tribe accent beads are scattered throughout. All of these elements compliment the main piece. The whole piece measure about 23" or 59cm long so it falls at a place of prominence around your neck. If you'd like it shorter, please let me know!

I am inspired by a collection of collages that I create to play with color. I include a picture of the original collage to illustrate my inspiration. I like seeing the end product and how it reflects the original idea.
