Vintage Taperlite Brown Suitcase

This old beauty is a Vintage Taperlite...His exterior is textured so he looks leather, he's got some scuffs to show he's been around...he's fully lined with a zipper pouch and ready to travel...

He measures right about 21-1/2" across, 14"-14-1/2" deep and 8-1/4" tall in the back and 7" tall in the front...His only drawbacks are his charming scuffs, on the top there's a place about 1/2" long where the exterior covering probably had something pressed on it and it cut into the exterior covering a bit, I don't think this mark will spread as there are no frayed edges or anything ot it, it's like a nick.

His interior is clean, but could be cleaned more thoroughly if you so desire, and in the pictures you see a strip of masking tape on the inside, well of course I didn't notice it untill I was describing the item, it is a piece of masking tape and someone marked on it in a childs writing "Sleeping Beauty", so that comes with it too...
This is one of the main things that attract me to these boxes,,,I always look at them and just wonder what stories they do have,,and if only they could tell them, the things I've found inside of them too only attract me more, it's just adds Charm and Intrigue.

These boxes are great for traveling, just being decorative in the home and are great to store things in, such as clothing, recipes, crocheting, needlework, ribbon, gift bags, craft items, momentos such as newspaper clippings, greeting cards...Oh you name it...They're also great to hold boy's and girl's projects, memorabilia and toys and the great thing there is everything that gets packed into this box is completly portable...nice 'n easy...
