French Quarter III, December 2008 - Original Photographic Print 5.5x8 matted to 11x14
Description
This tuba is obviously a veteran of the French Quarter. I encountered it sitting on the steps of a building in Jackson Square while it's owner was taking a break from playing. The early afternoon light was just right to capture the instrument's reflective surfaces. This print measures approximately 5.5x8 inches and will be printed on archival fiber based semi-glossy fine art paper and matted to 11x14 inches using archival matting materials.
ABOUT THE PRINT:
I do all of my own printing using a professional printer and museum quality archival inks and paper. The prints that I produce are rated to last well over 100 years if displayed behind glass. This print is being sold in an open edition and will be signed in the margin below the print.
ABOUT THE MATTING:
This print will be custom matted to 11x14 inches so that it can easily be dropped into any standard 11x14" frame. I use nearly white, very slightly off white archival acid free mat board and acid free backing board. Your print will be mounted to the backing board using archival materials and techniques.
OTHER INFO:
This print is available in my shop in two other sizes. If you would like the print in a size that is not listed or if you have any other questions just send me a message. I am always happy to make custom items.
