RUFFLED APRON UPCYCLED FROM VINTAGE FABRIC AND PATTERN

Advance Buttons and Bows Apron; One size Distributed by J.C. Penney Company, Inc. to promote the hit song, "Buttons and Bows" in the Paramount Picture "The Paleface" starring Bob Hope and Jane Russell in 1948. Half apron with generous ruffling, pouch pockets and rick-rack trim.

I have had this pattern for a while but was unable to use it until I found the perfect vintage fabric. I finally did and the results are fabulous. The print is a lovely piece of vintage fabric with a colorful Pennsylvania Dutch style heart design. For the ruffle I used a red bed sheet purchased at the thrift store. The rick rack is new.

**I recently noticed a small flaw in the front of the apron. That sometimes happens with vintage fabrics. I have repaired it so it is not really noticeable and it definitely does not detract from its appeal!**

It is one size fits all. My waist is 30 inches and it looks fine on me. The length from the bottom of the waistband is 20 inches.
