To Everything there is a Season Switch plate cover

Familiar with the 60's song written by Pete Seeger? It was called

Turn, Turn, Turn,(to Everything There is a Season)

To every thing, Turn, turn, turn,
There is a season, Turn, Turn, Turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven.

It actually comes straight from the Bible, originally written by King Solomon in the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1. But the words are still true today as he also said, there is nothing new under the sun.

I love the way the winter trees look against the winter sky. You can really appreciate their majesty while beholding their inner structure, their skeleton. They stand tall through the wind and the snow and the ice, waiting patiently for the sun to move closer to the earth, to warm up the soil and to rejuvenate itself once more as the sap, it's life blood, rises up to nourish it and the leaves that make it turn green again. But in all its naked beauty we can see what is under that shade that brings relief from the hot summer sun, and just bask in its winter beauty, knowing that spring is only a few months away.

This switch plate is a bit larger than normal, measuring 5" sq but will fit any double switch outlet you have. Matching screws are included.

The tree is sculpted with care, each gnarled branch delicately shaped and formed, and it sits upon a 'sky' of timepieces. Nestled at its bottom are 8 hand formed stones. The saying:

"To Everything there is a Season
And a Time to every Purpose.............." Is printed across the bottom in old tyme photo technique.

It is sprinkled gently with a snow glitter that lays upon each branch and dusts the trunk like a sprinkling of powdered sugar, and blows out across time and space.

Truly a One of a Kind piece, a bit different from my normal pieces and not one you will see again.
