Rose Quartz Nugget and Amethyst Earrings

These earrings are a nice combination of lovely pink and purple stones. Can you believe they were mined from the Earth? Amazing. Anyway, the Rose Quartz nuggets are rough-cut, organic and irregular. They are approximately 9mm x 9mm. The Amethyst are 5mm rounds and have a deep purple color tone.The earring are strung onto 18 gauge Sterling Silver. I have lightly hammered the Sterling for strength and textured the earrings with a cross-hatch design just above the Quartz. The earrings are just over 1.5" from the point at which they insert to the bottom of the earring.
