Meteorite Ring of Marvin the Martian set in silver with Hot lime geen Peridot and bright rodolite red Garnet
Description
This is my first Ring of 2009, and such a cool conversation piece.Marvin the Martian's "Meteorite Ring". The ring Makes use Marvin's Cartoon colors red and green.
The Center stone is an actual piece of a meteorite cut and polished into a 21 mm x 13 mm cabochon. The surface is slightly pours accented by my Photo lighting alot.The surface pitting is not easyly seen in Normal lighting .The stone has a cool even gray sheen In normal light with sparkling silver flecks of possible nickel in the surface. This stone is very solid and heavy. On one side of the ring is a 3/4ct lime green Peridot, as we know all Martian are green. On the other side is a bright 1/10ct Rodolite Garnet representing the red planet itself.
The ring is size 7 3/4
The ring weight is 12.1 grams.
