Sea Goddess Brooch

Description

This was made to compliment a new find of mine : a reproduction of the kind of sculpted stone medalions that adorn the fronts of many 18th century mansions in Bordeaux, Nantes or Paris. They usually represent some kind of ancient divinity connected with the seas and the winds, and were usually an ornament added to wealthy merchants' city houses...
This one was handmade out of clay and enameled in a very subtle, light shade of blue. It is about 1 inch 3/8 by 1 inch 3/8 (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm) max.

I added a peacock grey drop pearl — slightly bigger and more baroque than the necklace one...

But if you prefer, I can still make one using just the cab, as shown in the last photo.
