The Reggae Salsa Dress

Description

This former vintage slip dress has been hand dyed and beautified to sumptuous shades of yellow.... an ongoing project of mine until I achieved the overall look I was hoping for... it has a feel of Jamaica, Cuba and Mexico all sewn into one!

A pretty vintage barkcloth front panel of orange/pink flowers blend beautifully with the vintage and antique lace in shades of peach, yellow and soft browns.
A brown tatted lace piece drapes daintily over the candy stripe pocket.

Vintage seersucker encircles the bottom part of the dress with brown lace, a yo yo etc.
Hand embroidery in shades to match the dress finish it off - now waiting to be worn and be noticed :-)
Ideal over another plainer slip or layered over pants etc..

Such a feminine and smiley happy dress that will ooze warmth no matter the weather!

bust: approx 40" + (can easily be taken in at sides to make alot smaller to about 34")... unstretched
waist: 33" unstretched
hips 40" unstretched
length: 41.5"

please note that this is recycled from a vintage pre-loved nylon slip dress and does have some stretch.
