Description

This 11" x 11" hand formed plate is hand glazed in the majolica style. It is of a house by a pond, comforting and welcoming, glazed in warm, friendly colours. All the glazes we use state that they are suitable for food and so it can be used for both functional and decorative purposes.

Most of our hand glazed items have up to five to seven layers of glaze on them and depending on the intricacy of their design can take anywhere from a few hours to all day to complete. The size of the piece does not necessarily mean that they have have any more or less work or time devoted to their completion, therefore it is the time taken to paint each piece that will be reflected in the price of the item not the size.

Refunds will be sent to you if we have estimated too high on the shipping and packaging cost. Please note however that due to the fragile nature of pottery we do have to pack each piece very carefully to avoid breakages. That said, most of our estimates are very conservative.
