Lapis Lazuli tear drop earrings

Oh don't these really do look like real lapis lazuli?
I think that's such a pretty stone. One favored by the Egyptians among others.

Ah, but this is only faux lapis. Made entirely from polymer clay with a bit of gold leaf added. Molded, sanded and slightly polished. A little more refined look than the natural shape nuggets. These are more of a cut look.
Honest, it's very hard to tell these from the real stone.

These have gold posts for pierced ears.
