Description

As with all my beads, this one is made on a 3/32 mandrel.

This lentil shaped bead has a raked design. One side has a cold worked cubic zirconia on the surface. This side offers dreamy rivers of many shades of blue, accentuated with hints of firey coral. The opposite side is also raked, showing much more corals and oranges making the turquoise and blues really pop!

Just FYI -

Cubic Zirconia, or CZ for short, goes back to 1937. It is a man-made composition to simulate the Diamond. Due to a hardness of 8.5 and modern technical advances it became a high quality, inexpensive, beautiful gemstone and one of the major products in the lampworking industry.

Glass Diversion's CZ's can take up to 2200C heat which is much higher than Fahrenheit making them safe to use in warm glass.
