2009 Toddler Girls 1970s Jumper in Size 2T

I really love the way this little retro jumper turned out. I only wish I had a live model for the photos! It is made using a 1973 vintage pattern and is fashioned from 100% cotton houndstooth fabric. The fabric is quite substantial--the type that would have been used for a suit jacket in days gone by. It has a v-neck and two patch pockets. The neckline and pockets are trimmed with old-fashioned navy blue midi-braid and I have also used a chocolate brown cotton webbing for the pocket trim. All seams have been turned under and stitched down to the garment to prevent raveling. A little snap closes the back opening slit.

This should fit an average sized 2 year old on up to a smaller sized 3 year old. Armholes are sized so that a turtleneck sweater or a blouse can easily fit underneath for a classic look.
