How many times have I lugged the crayons and coloring book into a restaurant, only to have my child complain that she doesn't like any of the pictures? Too many.

This has been a lifesaver. This chalkboard placemat is 15" square. It has laminated cotton on one side, making it a great, clean surface for plates. The other side is a chalkboard fabric that can be drawn on and then wiped clean with a wet cloth (no chemicals, please). It is bound with a checked oil cloth, so all surfaces can just be wiped down.
It comes with one piece of chalk, which slides into its own holder.

The whole thing can be rolled up - stuck in a purse, or diaper bag, and then you're ready for the next outing.
