Take the Plunge Top Pattern

Description

This is a sexy top that's great if you're well endowed. Pair with slacks for the office, jeans for the grocery store, or a pencil skirt for a first date.

This garment was specifically designed to be flattering on a plus-size woman (but can also be worn by smaller women). The gathering at the neckline shows off some sexy cleavage, and the upper part is lined in the contrast fabric for extra support.

This top should take about 2 hours to sew. I recommend using a stretch stitch, if your machine is capable. If not, you can use a narrow zig-zag stitch to accomplish the same result.

You are welcome to create garments for personal use or for sale from this pattern, but not to copy or sell my pattern as your own.

This pattern requires about 1.5 yards of the main fabric, and about 1 yard of the contrast color (specific yardage included in your pattern). Recommended fabrics are light or medium weight 2-way stretch woven fabrics. Lycra or spandex blends work great.

Your pattern will be e-mailed to you as a PDF file within 2 business days of your payment being cleared. Include your measurements in the "Message to Seller" box upon checkout. Your pattern will be drafted to your personal size and shape, which means a fantastic fit!

Measurements needed:
• Circumference around chest, under armpits but above bust
• Circumference around waist at smallest point
• Circumference around hips at widest point
• Length over bust from bust measurement to waist measurement
• Length from waist measurement to hip measurement
• Length from bust measurement to top of shoulder
