This listing is for ONE bead-embroidered Dalmatian brooch. Dolly's design is inspired by the dog which accompanies her beaded fire truck, Engine Co. 6. This piece can be seen on TheLoneBeader.com.

Dolly was created by stitching tiny glass seed beads to felt (2-3 beads at a time) using a strong nylon thread. Beads were layered to make her legs & face look dimensional, and her ear actually moves! 5 different shades of black & white beads were used, as well as a tiny glass taxidermy eye for her nose. A 3/4" (2cm) pin is sewn to the back. Piece is backed with Ultrasuede, signed by The Lone Beader & dated. Approx. 6 hours of labour were required to make this item. This is a unique gift idea for any dog-lover, and would look great on a denim jacket or sweater.
