Up-cycled neckties anyone??

Mens ties are typically made with gorgeous fabric, but as styles change these once treasured "male accesories" find there way into thrift shops, yard sales, or even (gasp) the trash.

I have decided to help give these once utilitarian objects new life in the form of fun and funky eyeglass cases. The ties are taken apart and reconstructed to hold the reading glasses that we all will invariably need. I remove the identifying tag( if there is one) and place it on the underside of the flap so the original designer can be seen.
The addition of a vintage button and a velcroe closure make this a unique, yet useful item as well as a great gift for that professional man that is so hard to buy for!!
