Being Shod
Description
Not too long ago, horses were a major part of our every-day lives. We relied on them for transportation and for their strength, to help us with our tasks and to get us where we needed to go. The internal combustion engine has pretty much relegated the horse to recreational and leisure use only in the "first world", except... with the changing economy and fluctuating fuel costs, the horse is actually being used again in some traditional applications. And of course, anyone in the rest of the world who couldn't afford much more than a horse or mule has never given up using them. This print is a reflection on our reliance on this magnificent animal for so much of our work and accomplishments throughout history.
