Black and Tan Skirt made from Upcycled Merino Wool

The center piece of this skirt is a panel with sewn waves bordered by two strips of wonderful black and tan handknit sweater. I've surrounded this center piece with a series of neutral stripes. Starting from the front center and working toward the back center you have: tan/black/tan/charcoal grey. The back panel of charcoal grey and the charcoal grey band at the hips have wonderful textured stripes. I've tried to break up the horizontalness of this skirt by giving this band at the hips an asymmetric line (things are straight, but not straight). The hem is a band of coordinating colors (tan/cream/black/grey) with inserts. The skirt hugs through the waist and hips, then opens up quite a bit (basically A-line) toward the knees, giving a very flattering line. Exposed black stitching all around.

The soft merino waist-band is designed to be worn on your natural waist or can be rolled over if you're feeling hip-slung (and adjust the length). Hits at or near the knee. Looks fantastic with boots, leggings, tights...etc.

As with all of my designs, this one-of-a-kind skirt was hand made by me from 99% recycled materials. All professionally finished with a lovely "The Devil Made Me Do It" tag inside for your viewing pleasure.
