Here is a hand spun single ply yarn, spun by me from hand dyed Falkland wool, dyed by the Yarn Wench, color "A Clockwork Orange" - shades of orange, chartreuse and brown. Falkland is "in between" for me as far as softness goes - not as soft/squishy as merino but not as rough as domestic or Romney.

Wraps per inch: 12
Gauge per inch: 5.5-6
Recommended needles: 5-6 (metric: 3.75-4.25
Recommended hook: F

Hand wash cold, dry flat, should felt.
