To start the new year right the sewing girl made a valiant attempt to organize her precious stash of fabric. Bags and boxes were opened up and brought out into the light. As she started to sort through her treasure it occurred to the girl it would be much more fun to sew up these pieces rather than try to organize them! ...

This beauty would look so sweet sitting atop a table or dresser, it would also make a great quilt art wall hanging. Shabby chic hues of pinks with a little field of green, bordered with a robin's egg blue floral print. This piece measures 19 x 14.5".

I've got several other panels that I have put together, some are in shades of one color and many are a scrappy blend. They are just waiting for a border and the finishing touches. Some of them are hoping to be sewn together and made into a lap quilt. If you'd like me to create something personal for you let me know! (be sure to check back for more creations)
