I am drawn to the beautiful and sculptural head stones and statuary in gardens and cemeteries everywhere. I had just purchased a new camera and was experimenting with some black and white film. As I was walking through historic St. Mary's cemetery in Oakland, CA this serene lady caught my attention and I captured her. Her gaze into the heavens some believe, confirms life after death. The photograph that you will receive is shown in the second image shown on the right.
