1950s Harlem Fashion Show Photo, Great image of 1950s Dresses, Black History, Americana, 8x10

In May 2005, I purchased over 400 pieces of vintage clothing that came from the estate of Jessie Laurent Harper. From what I have been able to find out about her, Mrs. Harper was a milliner who worked out of her apartment on West 124th Street in Harlem. She designed hats for herself and did special custom designs for her clients and for local fashion shows put on by Church organizations and ladies groups. She also modeled in the local fashion shows.

This is an original vintage photo that was included with the clothing that I purchased. It is original photo from the 1950s NOT a recent copy. It is an 8 x 10 glossy probably taken at one of the fashion shows that Ms. Harper was invloved in. Jessie is the one to right of the lady in the plaid skirt, behind the kneeling girl.

The photo is in very good condition, some minor bends/creasing on the corners. The image is not super-sharp in the ladies faces, but you can see them very well.
