Hand Spun 2ply Yarn

Squish-tastic! yarns are yarns spun with one thick/thin strand of merino wool and a thinner strand of a merino blend - either merino/silk or merino/tencel.

This skein is spun by me from merino wool hand dyed by the Yarn Wench and a merino/silk blend hand dyed by the Yarn Wench as well (color Plum Honey for both). The merino wool is spun thick/thin and the merino/silk is spun thin and then they are both plied together. Very squishy soft! Beautiful shades of burgundy, brownish yellow, gold, and peacock/teal blue.

Coordinates with the smaller 36 yard skein and possibly the Navajo 3ply skein of the same name.

Wraps per inch: 5-6
Gauge per inch: 1.5-3
Recommended needles: 11 or higher (metric: 9)
Recommended hook: M or higher

Hand wash cold, dry flat
