Victorian Gorham Sterling Silver and Wood Vintage Antique Hairbrush

A beautiful work of Victorian charm....this GORHAM Sterling silver hairbrush has natural bristles in carved wood all set into a GORGEOUS Antique,
engraved flower and monogrammed sterling silver setting....It cleans up with silver polish, but I find it so charming in its unpolished condition that I did not polish it.

The flowers and engravings along the edge and the middle of the backside are so lovely...it would look beautiful sitting alongside of any victorian decorated bureau or dresser....I believe it is Gorhams BUTTERCUP design...

Measures @ 9.5 inches from top to bottom and @ 3 inches across at the widest part...

Simply Beautiful! This hairbrush must have been an elegant and lavish gift in it's day...almost too lovely to sell, but I do not have a place for it any longer...

One hole in the wood is missing bristles but could be replaced.
