Fine Silver and Vintage Rose Swarovski Crystal Stitch Markers for Knitting 999 pure NOT Sterling, Set of 2

Description

These stitch markers are made from fine silver wire, fused together and textured. Swarovski crystals are attached with ball ended fine silver headpins (also made by me!). The entire setup comes on a silver plated chain to hold the stitch markers together AND to adorn your knitting bag.

The markers themselves are about 1 1/8" long (including crystals), and the rings will comfortably fit on knitting needles up to size 15 (possibly a bit larger, but 15 is the largest size I own, so I know they fit on those. ^_^).

***Please note: These are not going to work for Crochet, unless you're doing Tunisian crochet, since these markers slip onto a needle to mark a stitch. You can't mark stitches in crochet with these because you won't be able to take them off of the stitches once they're completed!***

The idea for these stitch markers was born on a long road trip. While in the car, I was knitting a new pattern and I needed some stitch markers. I didn't have any, so I made some out of yarn. You can do the same thing, of course! But this got me thinking that these fused rings I make, usually for jewelry, would be perfect for marking stitches in knitting, AND I could hang pretty crystals off of them, AND I could put them on a little chain so I wouldn't lose them, and--! I could hang the chain off of my knitting bag and my handy stitch markers can double as a charm for the bag!

So here is my newest product offering, from one passionate knitter to another, an idea born of a long, boring road trip made more pleasurable (and productive!) by knitting.
