To start the new year right the sewing girl made a valiant attempt to organize her precious stash of fabric. Bags and boxes were opened up and brought out into the light. As she started to sort through her treasure it occurred to the girl it would be much more fun to sew up these pieces rather than try to organize them! ...

The colors in this panel remind me of the romantic old west, a red bandana on the outlaw cowboy, the floral prairie skirt and purple gingham prairie hat on the woman who watches him ride away. The top is quilted in a variegated thread in rustic tones of red, orange, & green. Backing is a green floral print.

This piece would be a great addition atop a table or dresser, it would also work wonderfully as a quilt art wall hanging. This piece measures 18.5 x 14.5".

I've got several other panels that I have put together, some are in shades of one color and many are a scrappy blend. They are just waiting for a border and the finishing touches.
