Subway Stories - Blue Line
Description
This is a signed, unframed print of a mixed media painting that was made with acrylic, ink and collage on panel. The print is on an 8.5"x11" sheet of velvet fine art paper with epson inks. There will be a white border around it to make it easy to frame. It will be packed in a cello sleeve and mailed in a photo-mailer.The stories behind these pieces is that when I was riding on the subway in Boston, I would see people in other subways passing by and wonder about their lives and their stories. I made the pieces with collages of phone numbers, subway maps and train schedules. I paint the scene over that and then within the figures I write in what they are thinking about.
