Jane Austen Pleated Bag in Pink

This is my favorite, basic, go-to bag to carry around. Plenty of room for your personal items, plus a water bottle, book, iPod, day planner, 3 tubes of Burt's Bees because you are forever losing and finding your lip balm or the pound of coffee you ran to the store to buy. Obviously, if it can hold my mess, it can hold yours! Makes a great book bag for the library.The bag was made with a lovely cotton fabric in a pink floral print. It has been lined in coordinating pink and brown striped cotton. The inside has three pockets which are the perfect size for a small notebook or other essentials. The pockets have a contrasting band of vintage seam binding sewn on the top. A screen printed silhouette, believed to be Jane Austen, has been appliqued to the front of the bag. The image has been hand screen printed in a dark brown color by myself, using environmentally friendly ink. A small bow made of vintage seam binding & a matching pink button adorns the front---but it can be removed easily if you so choose.
Measures 12" across and 14.5" deep. Straps are 27" long.
Machine washable.
