My husband's cousin, Martha, gave me the idea for these earrings. "Couldn't you make some kind of knot?", she asked. That thought percolated in the depths of my brain for about six months before I was able to try about 20 different options and come up this earring!

I've made a herringbone rope of beads, which i've twisted and connected into a knot. This pair is made of matte blue/green and spring green beads and they match perfectly with my Eklutna Lake, Seven Mile Carnival, Tubular Orbit and Blue and Green Caterpillar bracelets. They are attached to surgical steel posts and backs and measure approximately 5/8" in diameter.
