Dragoons, I tell you the white hydrangeas turn rust and go soon.
Already mid September a line of brown runs over them.
One sunset after another tracks the faces, the petals.
Waiting, they look over the fence for what way they go.


I love poetry and beautiful flowers! The hydrangea is such a beautiful flower whether it comes in blue, white, pink or even while it is still green and is multi-color.

I have created this textile cuff by hand embroidering green and purple hydrangeas with silken green leaves. The cuff is felted wool lined with a lovely green and white linen created by Cicada Studios. I've used a large, antique yellow button to close the cuff.

I design the patterns for these cuffs and then hand embroider them. No two are ever exactly the same, since I am doing this embroidery free hand from my drawn design.

By moving the button the cuff could be adjusted from 6.00 to 7.25 inches. The buttons used may be different than pictured, but will still be complimentary.
