Peach Fluff...Slice of Oregon Series...Asymmetrical Necklace

The teardrop wire-wrapped pendant, used in Peach Fluff, is a lovely slice of Oregon geology. Born from the fires of volcanoes, geodes were spit out and left to lay in the ground for millions of years. Water, earth, and gravity formed these beauties called Thundereggs in Oregon and are Oregon's state rock. They are sliced to make beautiful bookends and pendants and carved to make interesting statues.

This teardrop reminded us of peachy and white cotton fluffs encased in crystal. The pendant is hand wire-wrapped in sterling silver with an organic bail and hangs from a hammered circle.

Attached to the hammered circle are two strands of peachy colored Czech glass seed beads ending in another smaller circle. Several sterling silver jump rings cover and hug the seed beads close to the circle. A Thai silver engraved tube is strung on the outer seed bead strand. Long and short silver chain finishes the piece on the left side.

A peach jasper wire-wrapped round bead bead hugs the circle on the right. Long and short chain is attached to this bead and the necklace is finished with double rolo chain with colorful crazy lace agate rondelles and a sterling spring ring clasp.

Length: 17 inches.
Stone and bail are 1 3/4 inches long.
Gemstone is a little over 1 1/4 inches long and 3/4 inches at the widest part.
