For over 30 years I've worked with horses. I teach children and adults to ride them...care for them...love them. Every once in a while there is a horse that is a good teaching partner. Such is Fella.

Fella has a way of knowing when a rider is a beginner. He slows down and stops if he feels they are losing their balance, and when the rider really 'gets it', he moves along with a steady pace that builds rider confidence.

Fella has his quirks. He yawns when you bridle him, making it easier for a new rider to slip the bit in his mouth. He paws the ground if you take too long tacking him up. That lets you know he's done with standing around.

So now you have a 'connection' with Fella. When you write a note on this 5" x 7" card, you'll feel as though you are sharing a friend.
