The "Winslet" is a rich and luxurious collection new silk, and velvet millinery leaves as well as vintage blush colored maple leaves from 1930's Germany, bleached peacock feathers, hank knotted millinery baby's breath from the 1940's, silk tafetta leaves from the 1940's, peacock tail feathers, ivory goose and ostrich feathers, a gold raw silk ruffle, and exquisite hand made lace doily from my grandmother's own collection circa 1950.

The collection of new and old materials in this piece gives the design detail, texture, and a uniqueness all its own. This piece measures about 7.7 inches in diameter with some lighter feather and lace extending farther off the piece in some areas. The piece attaches easily and securely to the hair with silver wire hair comb.
