Better off dead

Description

I had a long walk home today. It was full of intersections and medians and all sorts of obstacles. I don't live in the most pedestrian-friendly town, though it can be quiet pedestrian. Given that, some of the worst obstacles are moving much too fast, and coming from all directions. It's at that point I get caught up in the morning hostility, and lose sight of the slower things happening just beyond the curb. It's at that point I want to slow my pace and just lie down in the street. Maybe if I pretend to be asleep no one will bother me.

No really, it was not the sunniest of mornings. And while I enjoy a nice overcast, I can do without the exhaust. Sad, I know. Wanna cheer me up?
